The PMD Remake is a death knell for the series, it either goes mobile, flops and then they stop making games outright, or they skip right to never making a game ever again.

Unless it literally becomes the best-selling Pokemon game ever made, TPC will compare its sales to GO, the only other active spinoff, and come to the conclusion PMD should be on mobile.
