It's mentioned in their dex entries that they can absorb metal particles to make steel stuffs. I think it's implying that Zacian and Zamazenta forged their own weapons.

Odin did.
They're based on Geri and Freki, after all.
Plus that's why Corviknight (crows are what Odin is primarily associated with) are covered in armor.

Pokemon type weaknesses really only apply to Pokemon attacks, otherwise Water type pokemon couldn't touch a leaf or Pikachu would never be allowed to touch the ground without dying.
