The budget seems way too low for their ambition. Two combat systems and a monster catcher roster for 300k with an indie studio? This is way too naive and optimistic. They're going to run into trouble or deliver a mediocre product, which is a shame since it looks decent unlike Temtem.

Also your pic is not "pokemon rip off". Just because it's based on a chess piece it doesn't mean it's executed the same way, bisharp's all about edges that cut, this one even has 2 evolutions and imo, I like it more

While earth is their ground/rock type combined.

Yes, the WORD gaia basically means the same thing as earth. But the types are very different the way they're using them.
