>>42889870Order system:
Give orders to pokemon that provide modifiers depending on what is being used, think things like:
Dodge - Increase evasion for one turn at the expense of speed
Block - Increase defence for one turn at the expense of speed
Counter attack - Increase accuracy, evasion and offense, at the cost of defense and speed
Orders (when successfully executed), KOs and enemy switches then provide Finesse points that are consumed (this is all or nothing, so no saving up points and using multiple Finesse Orders in a row) to allow for certain bonus actions, up to and including:
- Double hit - Allows a Pokemon to use its attack twice (one turn Parental Bond essentially)
- Special support - Allows for extra effects for support moves provided by Z-moves
- Stat boosts - As opposed to basic orders, these would last until switching out
- Switching - This would be controversial, but I think the extra flexibility afforded by the Order system would make up for it
- Mega evolution - Allows for a Pokemon to Mega-Evolve without holding a Mega Stone (high Finesse cost).
- Z-move - As above, but only for offensive moves
- Dyna/Gigantamax - This would be the highest finesse cost and would allow Dyna/Gigant multiple times per match, however it would be the only way to do it
Probably broken as all hell but whatever, but I think it'd be neat in conjunction with a TemTem-style priority overhaul.
