Bullshit, the execs hard-coded mythicals to movies in Gen II. This was a factor of XY's crew being absolute steaming dogshit at the boxcoffice (worst performing movies and there were some dogshit pokémon movies, which is saying a lot).

Really? Blaming XY for that? They at least got movies. SM’s style of everything being slice of life where they were constantly in the same place dicking around screwed the pooch on having movies happen there thus leading to the AU approach. I mean really, what would they have done with 1 SM movie, much less 3?

The Hoopa movie was so offensively bad it nearly killed Pokemon movies entirely. Worst selling Pokemon movie since Heroes (which went up against Star Wars Episode 2 in Japan) until the next movie did worse.

Because he's a retard who's allowed to hack the entire franchise and carry infinite Pokeballs and effortlessly catch as many Pokemon as he wants to without consequence. He'd probably just catch the mythical with no effort at the beginning of the movie and end the plot right then and freakin there.
