I pulled Red and immediately maxed him out on levels. I also dumped all my Gold passes I have stockpiled to bring him to 17/20 and will be dumping all of my Sync orbs into him

I'll definitely be going for 2 more of him too for maximum grid potential.

so what's the optimal strategy here? i got him with my first 3k gem, now i got about 30+K, and with the 10k reward they told they will give it, it mean i will get another sure pair. But im not sure if switching banner for steven or sygna elesa is wise because the red banner has better 5* chance

We've been told time and time again by the fucking official devs, let alone from fan reception and how much each rate up is making, that Pokemon Masters was (and still is) fucking floundering. This 6 month anniversary event is clearly intended to be the 'we fixed the game now haha' event which is why they are dumping all this shit including a trailer with a bunch of upcoming characters, but we won't actually know if the game has been fixed unless they can keep this content release schedule up. It's totally possible that after these events expire we get X type training events and reruns for a month.

when you start out it's like picking a normal 3 sync pair team, then you can switch around as you progress. When you have picked 9, all the other sync pairs will be blocked out (can't be chosen). You can switch your pairs in each reset (daily). I recommend just going through the first couple of rounds just to get used to the system, the first 5 should be easy enough with Pryce. The real challenging stuff starts at hall 9 (Agatha)

They've been preparing the 6 month anniversary as a panic 'please play our game' since like a week after launch.

Name a single gacha that had to release their single most anticipated character on the 6 month anniversary. FGO, one of the biggest gacha in the world, doesn't do 6 month anniversaries at all. Others just do them as a log in campaign. Pokemon Masters 6 month anniversary was announced 5 months in advance with them working on a new game mode and new type of event from scratch, alongside a new trailer with half a dozen unreleased trainers teased.

If you can't see all this and still not realise that this anniversary is primarily fucking damage control for all the players the game lost in the first month, you are sub-60 IQ. No other mobage goes to this much effort for a 6 month anniversary, no other mobage has fucking open developer letters to the community about how the games underperforming and they are working on a big 6 month anniversary to fix that.

Everything I have been saying has been backed up by Dena them fucking selves and you still act like a retard and go hurr durr doom posting durr. I would save. Hardest thing in the game (and the only thing that requires your attention) is the Battle Villa, but Elesa's not so hot in that. I didn't check her Sync Grid though, so if it lets her use the Sync Move cooldown thing multiple times then she could be useful for trying to clear the harder floors.

Olivia's kit makes her great. Her buff move (Hard as Diamonds) gives her +2 crit immediately in one turn as well as enough accuracy to never miss Stone Edge. Stone Edge has +1 crit built in. so one thing i noticed in battle villa is that first aid passives can proc on every fight, even if you start each fight without full HP

this makes mew extremely good, because i can spam swifts while getting passive evasion boosts from his sync grid, meaning most attacks miss me and the ones that hit i can auto-heal with first aid, then move onto the next fight and repeat

It increases their sync level. Which makes their moves and sync moves hit a little bit harder. If they have a sync grid it will also unlock some parts of the grid for the first 2 dupes. You can in total increase the sync level 4 times(4 dupes after you initially pulled the unit). After that you get power up tickets. Which you can use to slightly increase a 5*s stats. But it's very minimal. You also get tickets for free from events.

use entry buff & move gauge refresh instead

Apart from broken Red, Flind & Oak are pretty good, entry speed up & fire punch refresh, mew can enter with evasion and spam swift for evasion boost

do not even select shitmons in prep menu, it will lock in the slot for the day

Support already has Santa Rosa. You would need to take her move gauge buff and slap on some better buffs than just X Atk All. Otherwise she's probably still going to be the best.
