For Grass lover, Gen VIII is a really bad one.
Very few new pokémons and problematic design.

Bland starter line (except maybe Grookey)
Repetitive design (Gossifleur line)
Bad design (Calyrex and Zarude)

There is just Appletune and that's it.

I hope gen 9 will be a long awaited Grass Golden Age.
