Gen 1 was my first game, but I wasn't really hooked on Poemon till I hda Gen 2. Played all the way up to Gen 6 but to this day, I cant bring myself to finish X/Y. I dont know what it is about that game, but it just bores the hell out of me despite the many things it does right.

Gen 7 was at least okay for one playthrough but I couldnt take the cutscene shit. I just wanted to go back to the simpler times of exploring the region with your bros without literal who's extrapolating shit at you at every turn.
Didnt even bother with Gen 8.
