I think we have some common bros there.

Mixed Runs use mons from different generations. Not possible in FRLG due to mons being unable to evolve unless they're in the Kanto Dex.
Monoruns use only the mons new to the generation. All Gen 1 runs are monoruns.
Dex runs use mons from the regional Dex and may come from different generations.
