My personal favorties are things like Weezing, Barbaracle and Eelektross which people might call gross and monstrous but I love them for also having cuteness, not "in spite" of cuteness. They're "grotesque" in the way you could say a bulldog, warthog or buzzard are grotesque, but those are lovable and charming animals again because of, rather than in spite of, the things people might call ugly about them.
In fact, while I do like Grimmsnarl, it's not one of my personal favorites because it doesn't have that cute slant to me; it's just entirely badass. I think it's a perfect concept and design that I wouldn't change, but it's not one I would train and use myself.
