What pokemon is the most in need of a evolution? I think it's real weird how Magmar and Electabuzz got third evolutions and Jynx didn't.

Counterpart pokemon such as pinsir, banette, weepinbell... it is weird that their counterpart has an evolution while they dont. When it comes to remake, it feels weird that the version exclusive mons are not equal because of the extra evolution that one version has

Pinsir and Weepinbell were supposed to get their equivalents of Scizor and Bellossom in the gen 2 beta, but Pinsir's evolution was reworked into Heracross, and the Weepinbell split evo got scrapped.

They all get baby pokemon in gen 2, all evolves at level 30.

Ice fire electric trio (like the legendary birds)

The only mon in gen 1 to learn their respective elemental punch (other than hitmonchan who learn all 3)

Electabuzz exclusive to red, magmar exclusive to green/blue. Jynx while obtainable in trade for red, green/blue, is only found in wild in japanese blue

We even know from the beta that Jynx was originally a male yeti implemented at the same time as Electabuzz and Magmar, and the yeti kaiju it was based on also was the basis for the Japanese names of Magmar and Electabuzz.

Why don't they give Jynx the Feraligatr treatment and change the way it looks over time? Change lip color to blue or white, skin to pink or magenta, and hair blue?
