Its OK. On singles, I like using him pre melmetal and KyuB ban. Intimidate parting shot makes them not able to setup and in Melmetals case, soften blows enough that something can come in and kill it or predict the mon the opponent is going to send out. On VGC, I'm thinking Parting Shot, Snarl, Fake out, Filler (Maybe Darkest Lariat

I think parting shot is the better choice for doubles because more stuff tends to stay in as opposed to switching.

In singles it depends on what you want to get done. U turn leaves lasting chip while parting shot cripples your opponent so you can have an easier time w/ hazard control and setting up
