>>42930387What paths? Going two steps in other direction does not count as a sidepath. Going around a rock does not count as a sidepath. What kind of retarded standard are you trying to establish here?
The anon I responded to overcomplicated the shit out of presented routes to create an illusion of complexity which isn't there. This is especially visible in a graphical representation of Route 15 (the water one) in his post. What the fuck are all those circles around tiny rocks?
'm posting an example of what I mean. The left side represents anon's bullshit while the right side is what normal people see.
Alola does have some non-linear routes but you can count them on one hand. Two really come to mind - Route 5 (because of its structure which requires some exploration) and Route 7 (has access to an optional water area which is still just a circle but whatever). The others are usually "just a straight line" (routes 1, 2, 6, 8, 10, 11, 14) or have really only one path with little room to manoeuvre (routes 3. 4, 9, 12, 13, 15, 16, 18). Some of these routes grant access to optional areas (like route 2 leading to cemetery or route 3 having access to Seaward Cave) but their general structure still look like a single line.
