say what you want about the games themselves, because honestly, the games havent always been good especially gen 6 and 7.
but there has never been a bad pokemon design.

At first I hated these versions but then I thought how cool the concepts were. The "hair" and "beard" is actually iron grains stuck to them by magnetism. The thing on Golem's back is like a cannon or railgun or something which ejects an electrically charged rock. They look weird I know but I find that I do dislike something usually when I don't understand the idea behind it but when I understand it they can become a firm favourite. That happened to me with Golem, even the original design.
