If I wanted to play Red and Blue, I'd play Red and Blue. If I want to play a remake, I expect to be able to use all of the new features, and that includes the new Pokemon

Well, I have to agree with you there. Hoenn was good up until you beat Norman. Well, it was passable. After that though? Worst region, and it held that spot until Alola. You have to admit, that’s quite impressive.

The tutor moves can only be learned one time because they're literally the equivalent of the NPCs that gave you those moves in TM form. The compatibility list is even exactly the same for Gen I monsters.
