>>42937054>They’re world-ending beings that the enemy team wants to use for their own goals. They do pretty much the same thing in either game. I agree that they share the same role, but conceptually as creatures they aren't similar which is what I was arguing
>Maybe you’re right though, maybe I’m just staring at the game story too hard because I really dislike how identical they were to gen 3’s.Fair enough
>It’s not a huge deal but imo it could’ve made for a really interesting Coronet variant between the two games. Just something that could’ve been.I agree, it would've been neat to see the time/space stuff used more
>Not their first time into 3D, DP did a bit over there.DP didn't have any environment that was similar to the Distortion World, it was a first time for pokemon which is why it was made to be such a big deal.
>But I thought it was half-assed because you could’ve done more with the weird areas and rewarded players more with something other than the box legends. I was actually hoping it would have more than just Giratina, but I get why that was the case. Sure, it’s for kids and stuff but beyond trying to look strange it was pretty basicI don't think it was trying to achieve anything more, it was just a look into Giratina's world and essentially a look into how the world would be if Giratina destroyed it. I agree more could've been done and it would've been fun to know more about the Distortion World, but it served it's purpose well enough.
