>>42940593Great, so if we agree that being a popular pick isn't enough to be considered broken, then let me ask again, what Pokemon in VGC right now are broken that ruin the meta to be played in? You keep saying it's shit and showing team stats like it shows a poor structure of balance, like how nothing "main meta" can be used.
People said Gmax Charizard was shit because setting the sun and using Solar Power would be better, then we got Dallas and suddenly everyone's running him. People said Durant was shit because he's got shit bulk, then we got Dallas. And only after Dallas you suddenly see people running Durant, Gmax Zard, and Super Luck Togekiss when before he was 9/10 times used defensively with Serene Grace.
Are you sure it's not just a meta of "monkey see monkey do"? Because if X mon was so good it would have been found out and used since day 1, right? If some strat goes unnoticed for some time and gets a boom only after a pro or good player is seen running it, does that not go to show the flexibility of a meta that people can reliably win constantly with or without these Pokemon, especially a game like Pokemon that has such a tie to RNG in its mechanics?
I'm tired of replying with multiple lines to strawman arguments of usage stats alone.
