How long did your longest shiny hunt take?

Been trying to get this fucker since XY came out and I'm currently on 25 boxes losing hope.

I'm into 15th box for a shiny popplio in Sword, won't take longer until I get to 20 boxes. I got both Rowlet and Litten within 100 eggs, but this seal just won't show up
