Full context of what you're crying about was they were asked SPECIFICALLY about the return of the full national dex, not just the return of some pokémon (because autism and holding onto a faint glimmer of hope), only for Game Freak to reply they weren't adding the full dex back in, they'd made a decision and were sticking to it. They weren't going to say "oh but we've got DLC planned that'll add some back in, but we can't talk about that yet", they run on NDA (based TPC lawsuit for confirming that) and part of an NDA is restricting talking about something until expiration date (the January Direct reveal). Cry all you want, but NDA's are industry standard and Game Freak were QUITE clear Dexit meant Dexit (oddly enough, 200 added pokémon isn't 890 total).
