So apparently it seems like these two might show up in the Coco movie?

I’m quite fine with it. One of the AU movie series’ greatest strengths is weaving in all the new mons with the old while the old-school feeling of adventure, seriousness, and characterization like in the early anime. For example, horrible gorilla gait aside, I quite liked how M20 showed Incineroar as threatening and violent like you would expect a tiger to be, for example. So, I’d be curious to see how they portray these two.

But yeah, AU movies have been a pleasant surprise. Probably the best portrayal of the Pokémon world at the moment making even the goofy or humanoid mons feel like animals, at least as best they can, but also giving Ash a sense of nobility with his usual funny shohen persona and the places he visits just being plain gorgeous.

The way things are looking, Rillaboom seems like it'll be good in competitive when it gets its HA. Won't even be entirely cucked by Bulu because it has Fake-Out, U-Turn, and Knock-Off.
Here's to hoping that it'll get some appreciation because of its usefulness.

Inteleon is a badass who shoots bullets of compressed water out of finger guns, has a serrated blade on its tail, and can fly around with a gliding cape.

Rillaboom needs to put down a prop on the floor and stand in place to use its signature move

Guess which one would work better in dynamic action scenes.

Having these three moves means that he will be the one that cucks Bulu. They are part of the package that made Incineroar the dominant Pokémon in VGC and he can back them up with a powerful speed control move. Even in singles these moves along the higher speed will make it better than Bulu in most situation and a staple Pokémon. Most starters, including the likes of Grenigger, wish that they could be this good in both metas.

That being said, I do believe Rillaboom will still show up in some capacity. He just doesn't have the same popularity or marketability as the other two Starters so he's not gonna be promoted in the vein as them.

What I DON'T understand is why pic related is being pushed.
It's not popular and it's not even cute enough to appeal to casuals. Cramorant is at least funny. Skowvet is just jarring
