Masters is as canon as you want it to be. It constantly references little to big things from the games and even just lore and characters in general. And they use the Sync Pair Stories and Event Stories to expand on previous stories that GF haven’t touched on like Zinnia and Giovanni who basically got Epilogues to their stories in Masters, or all new stories in general that again, plays on the lore of the series.
There’s nothing in Masters that says non canon. Everyone is using their most recent designs, slightly updated ones, or Sygna Suits. It’s just the PWT from BW2 but with all the characters actually interacting this time.
