As much as I dislike the design Eiscue is at least somewhat cute and has muh concept. Rillaboom has nothing going for it.

Snom is a terrible design that looks barely like a bug type. The only reason people like it is because the name. If Snom was called "Frosbug" or something nobody would give a rat's ass.

Eiscue is a design that takes some imagination, whether you like it or not. Using ice sculpture to create a big helmet to make itself appear bigger required some thought. Rillaboom is just a gorilla.

having good animations doesn't change that its design is one of the laziest in the entire series. Vanilluxe isn't great either (especially given how absurdly lazy of an evolution it is) but at least the base design isn't just "ordinary animal with a cube on its head".
Eiscue unironically looks like something a two year old drew that they decided to put into the game out of pity.

By being objectively better. It’s just a simple, unassuming Pokemon with a very fittingly Pokemon design and gimmick. The abortion of a gorilla is a disgusting mess that’s not even a competent design in a vacuum let alone a valid Pokemon. It has no place in the series and is simply trash. One of very few Pokemon I legitimately wish was deleted.
