In the GBA version, easily accessible by playing a ROM on an emulator.

This. The concept of a mystery dungeon remake got me excited, so instead of buying the remake for $60 I just emulated the original version for $0. Doesn't look like I'm missing much anyways.

Play explorers too, Rescue team and Explorers are the best (and only good) games in the mystery dungeon series. Both are phenomenal, personal preference goes to Explorers.

It's having it on a GBA SP. Compact and comfy and the game just kinda STARTS. No DS menu shit. Not a big deal at all, but I get what you mean.

I'm actually emulating it since I lost my SP, but yeah it's the simpler control/screen interface that makes red more appealing to me.
