I got this Litten from Surprise Trade. What is the possibility this is legit?

Square shiny, perfect 6s, Intimidate ability, from Alola region (originated in 7th gen game).
It's gotta be fake, right? Why would someone trade it?
I don't want my game banned, so I'm getting rid of it by the end of evening. No, I won't trade it to you.

Actually guys, I looked into the info I saw in this thread. So Verlisify is spreading the idea that genned Pokemon get you banned? And you say that this is misinformation.
Yeah, I did look into it, and it actually was Verlisify who I got that info from, though I didn't know who he was at the time.

His video did seem like he was unreasonably vindictive against hackers. And while I do not want to gen or hack myself, it seems like he wanted people to be unfairly penalized for not playing his way. And I'm not down with that. He was literally saying that if you get banned, you deserve it. It makes me think he's just jealous he can't win legitimately, and it gives him less credibility.

I now believe it's less likely I would be banned, but I still don't want to chance it. Can you even get a square shiny on a previous region Pokemon?

I'm trading it to someone, so don't freak out anymore. (No, I'm not trading it to you)

Square shinies are just based on the PID. So certain past shinies can be transferred into Squares if the PID matches the pattern for Sw/Sh.
