I don't get what the point of getting rid of two goofy gimmicks and then adding an arguably goofier one was. I also think several Gigantimaxes should have been evolutions or had their special moves rethought.

I fucking hate it. WP is annoying combined with this. What happened to just straight up Pokémon battles? Not every gen needs an overpowered gimmick. Gen 6 truly was the downfall of this franchise.

It didn't need to exist, we had Z-moves and mega evolution beforehand. All this did was combine the two, when such a combination wasn't needed or asked for.
