Keeping the games fun, I dunno man be creative. I wouldn’t call a nuzlocke creative but it’s a start. Do a monotype run. Do a themed run.
Getting good isn’t really something you do without practice. If you just want to win read up on smogon viability tiers to understand what dominates a metagame, and remember good is always relative to the pool of available choices.
