An attack drop will affect non stall Pokemon more. Imagine a Pokemon that gets weaker attack each turn after getting poisoned. Or losing attack stat because sneaky pebbles are on the field. Stall just needs to heal itself.

It is a shitty fix indeed.

I mean worse in the sense that it becomes more prominent and annoying to deal with, not that it becomes less viable. It will definitely become more viable because HO and wallbreakers will do infinitely less damage as they become damaged by hazards and status and chip damage. The meta will consist of stall and bulky balance. HO will die completely and even bulky offense will be difficult to run.

Basically imagine gen 2 meta again but worse.

Please explain what exactly you're 'fixing' with this change. I mean, if you wanted to buff Stealth Rock by adding an attack debuff to its effect, or completely invalidate the use of a focus sash on an attacker then good job I guess.

Heres a better idea OP, everytime a pokemom takes a hit, the defenses stat that was used dimishes depending on damage dealt.
