Not really unless you like Ash's team filling up with Dragonite and Gengar. Even then, it's the kind of thing you wish original Ash from the past could have done a long time ago and now, it just looks soulless and braindead instead.

The whole Ash art style/design inconsistency really doesn't jive with me. It just makes it look like they're trying to mold Ash's style into what is the most current and most popular style these days which just looks kinda odd and cheap.
