shitch can barely even handle Dark Souls, a 9 year old game mind you. a 9 year old title runs at 30fps on that shit hardware with worse graphics than any other version. any other title that has even the slightest bit of hope of looking decent has to compromise with low framerates or resolution.

They tried that. Spin-offs failed, so they decided they had to do them. Presto, ~12m for a functional spin-off. You realise even they wish to pursue a child target demographic? It's the one aspect of Tagiri's original vision of the series (a game kids in Japan that mightn't get the chance to hunt for bugs and fight the against friends like he did, could have some kind of similar experience with) that remains true to this day, it offers kids a chance to explore a world and hunt critters to fight against friends.

I know it would be hard to make exactly what I'd want from these drawings from the sheer size of the map required as well has all the content needed to make it feel full, but it is a shame that it will never quite exist.

As a kid I Imagined legendaries and final evos being this big, and it crushed me learning things like Blastoise and Zapdos are no taller than my own mom. I know some are big but I still feel bamboozled
