Not at all.
In fact, Corviknight and Dragapult straight up outclass some of those “annoying” Pokemon, like Celesteela and Tapu Koko, simply because they are that fucking good.
Like christ, Corviknight alone is more viable than the legendary that’s essentially Mega Mawile on steroids (granted, that’s because people prepare for Zacian-C).
Oh, and because Pokemon were cut, that also means potential counters and competition don’t exist either.

They aim to make a game a year dude, they cut the 'dex to not have to worry about squeezing in the entire roster in three years, each game they make. With the 'dex only ever expanding, the likelihood of Dexit continuing only rises as it gets more and more unrealistic to make a game AND ensure a thousand models work properly in the environments within.

I agree, which is why I hope battling mechanics and most other parts of the game receive serious overhauls on the Switch to both modernize and fix the gameplay instead of just removing the content that makes it stand out in the first place to appease autists who don't want to learn something new.
