Diamond and Pearl are slow but they're definitely not bad
I think people can safely say that platinum is the "worse" purchase because it doesn't change that much to warrant full price, but as a standalone game it's certainly a better experience
that said, platinum is my #1 favourite pokemon game anyways

Played as Bulbasaur and Squirtle and died once to a monster room because I was healing fuckers I picked up and didn't cheese it like every time after, and I also accidentally used Solar Beam by pressing A and the AI decided to throw Solar Beam as its best choice of an attack
