I initially liked Salamence as a kid but had no clue where to find it. When my friend got a Bagon I asked him where he caught it and he gave me a false location bc he didn't want anyone else to get it. So I started running around in some random route trying to get it. After a while I gave up and settled for Flygon as my dragon bro. I was still jealous of his Salamence and convinced myself to hate it ever since.

Now that I came back I got over hating on it and actually really like it again.

The way I always saw it was that the height mentioned in the pokedex is just an average.

Just like with any species some are huge and others are small.

I actually would like if pokemon took something from monster hunter, and gave pokemon different sizes, even take the whole crown system and rename it to something else, that could be pretty neat. Especially if they make the in battle models the correct sizes.
