Hm. I do like it better, but its hard to say for sure since the background is night. If it were a lighter day background the difference might not be as favorable.

Fantastic, Why they thought it had to be washed out after the well-transitioned Stadium model was updated for Colo/XD is beyond me, but Starmie always looked nice in those games. Snattle had based taste in mons btw

These seem pretty burnt out, in comparison the Starmie seems dimmer. These two are just too bright, especially with the night background, making them seem like they were just cropped in from somewhere else.

That's probably because the game doesn't account for any kind of lightning on your Pokemon's model when interacting in Refresh. They look improved, but the lack of shading makes them look out of place. It's hilarious that fixing the shitty textures still isn't sufficient to improve the game's visuals.

citra has custom texture support and i made some edits to make some of the more washed out pokemon look closer to their colors in the DS games

it's still a huge improvement though
can you take some in daylight? i don't think the game properly changes lighting at night so the pokémon look fucked up in front of all the grays and blues
