i think it's stupid as fuck that they have minimal connections between games, especially when shit like Red in GSC gets such a huge positive reaction
makes me care less about each game's story and characters, knowing that they'll never come back or get retconned in a terrible remake

Do they even have much dialogue in that game? From my experience with gacha games, most characters have a few lines they say when recruited and then one side mission and then they never speak again.

I think most of the gym leaders will return in remakes eventually, even if it's in an LGPE-style game. I think Frontier Brains/postgame bosses are the only ones we really have to worry about not appearing again.

But there's no waifuservice in the game, and the only reason to play a gacha is waifuservice. That's the problem with an E-rated gacha.

They have jobs in their respective regions, why the fuck would they just randomly pop up elsewhere?
