Two weeks after the fact, it just dawned on me. This wasn't just supposed to be a simple Popularity Poll. It was a POKEMON OF THE *YEAR* poll.

TPCI was probably planning to have distributions and other fun shit during the year to celebrate the winner. But they're so absolutely inept they never stopped to consider what would happen if the winner was something both unexpected and impossible to accrue. And the winner of the poll was the single worst case scenario: A pokemon that is currently unavailable in the both the mainline games, the side games AND Pokemon Go.

It's honestly kinda embarassing just how stupid this company is nowadays. What the fuck was even the point of calling it a Pokemon of The Year poll? Will they be doing this shit every year now or something?
