>>43038102>Aug. 2019>memory laneI still remember this one specific Fakemon vid showing off Snivy's "evolutions" back when everyone was still passing around the fuzzy Corocoro rips of their official art, even down to the music that was playing - 009 Sound System's The Hero Waits. I used to watch that video all the fucking time in anticipation for Gen V to drop. Even today, those six percussion beats at the start of the song are seared into my memory despite not having watched the video in damn near a decade nor listened to the song until only just a minute ago as of typing this. I can't even find the video anymore thanks to Youtube's cancerous search system, assuming it even still exists, but hopefully at least some other people will recall it and share in the nostalgia. At least Rykard's old analysis videos are still around. And no, I have no idea who drew the art or what it looked like.
