What a shame. The original one was a masterpiece. I see Chunsoft too went the way of GF. Well I didn't buy it, nor I care about future PMD installment if this is the new standard now. It's ORAS all over again. Nu-pokémon is trash, but at least I will always remember with pleasure old (true) pokémon.

oh wow, Charizard can become powerful for a one (1) floor. I'm so glad that Pokemon such as Popplio weren't allowed in the game in order to preserve that feature that already existed in the game's engine.

I like the idea of making the IQ system less grindy, but I really wish one Pokemon could have more than one rare quality and you could choose which one was active, instead of being hard locked to the same quality all the time.

ah yes the IQ system was so much fun.
It was so great to have no benefit from the IQ while doing the main story because you had to grind a fuckton to make it worth it. Also investing so much grinding into 1 team pretty much locked you into them, making it really annoying to try to switch out pokemon.

Truly a flawless system... fuck off

I mean i liked the challenge of the 99f dungeons but at a point it just starts to feel it drags for way too long because the procedural generated shit has always been very basic with not much variation

i'd take more only like 8 floors if that meant they actually felt more unique

I looked it up and I only found a single post-game dungeon with reduced floors (Western Cave). OP wasn't lying to make the game sound worse than it is, was he.... ?
