I have a 4 year old nephew who just got into Pokemon. However he only likes the original 151 (just naturally, he doesn't even know it was ever "just" 151) and always wants the Indigo League eps on Netflix instead of Sun/Moon. Are Genwunners becoming genetic?

If he likes gen 1, LGPE is unironically a great experience for an older and younger family member to play though together using the co-op mode.
