the super drawn-out attack animations.
kind of a shame that you're practically forced to turn them off since they look cool.
the only gen i leave them on is 3 because they're decently fast there. or maybe it's just placebo idk.

Gen 3 animations are nice and snappy for the most part, attack and otherwise. Every other gen feels clunky and laggy compared to gen 3.

Gen V's animations are alright in that regard. At least better than IV, though maybe that's mostly because of the health bar stuff.
