Boring? She may not have much in story content, but she's not that boring.

I see potential there. She could spend time traveling to different regions to get new material for her books. Maybe, she owns a spooky library in some far away region. She's possibly a famous author with one of her famous books even getting a movie adaptation in PokeStar Studios. Who knows?

I know Grimsley made a brief appearance in USUM, where he adds Sharpedo Jet to the player's Ride Pager, and Caitlin ran the Battle Castle in the Gen IV Frontier.
