A few more designs from an art project. The idea is designing mons for an Australian based region. The Pokedex is a Gen 1 homage. Like Gen 5. Filled with mons that fulfill a similar niche to Kanto Pokemon. With some original ideas thrown in too.

- Normal --> Normal/Flying design based on a Sugar Glider acrobat, sky diver and a wing suit.

- Ground type Earthworm based on the Giant Gippsland Earthworm. Final evo has elements of a bobbit work and the Mongolian death worm.

- Grass/Fire type line is based on plant mimics and the Gympie Gympie and the designs are a visual interpretation of the burning bush from the Bible. First stage disguises itself as a nest/pile of leaves. Last stage disguises it's front leaves as a hammock and it's bush as a bed. If you lay on them they burn you. The entire design concept is a reference to the song "Bed's Are Burning" by Midnight Oil an Australian rock band.

- Water type Manatee with algae that grow in patterns similar to dairy cow fur pattern because it's a "sea cow".

- Rock type line based on meat rocks and Piure, an organism that disguises itself as a rock. The first evo is often mistaken for actual meat and this makes it vulnerable to being nibbled on by other Pokemon like Gabite. Last Evo evolves and gains more rock for protection that makes it look grilled/charred. It also takes inspiration from Stromatolites as well.
