There are certainly more proactive approaches to intensive training and focus that don't involve sacrificing one's sociability, but it's a Pokemon and I can overlook that.

I think Scorbunny might be a tad better, design-wise, but both are definitely better than Cinderace.

I don't hate Cinderance but I do wish they made it a bit different from Scorbunny's design. It misses the mark of having a "final stage" feeling

I actually really like both raboot and drizzile, and both are my favorites of their respective lines. Intellion and Cinderace are only ok imo.

Twackey is just goofy looking though and rillaboom is ok I guess.

It's the most blatant 'fakemon' feeling design to date alongside limpdick. Say what you will about Assdeer but it actually looks a hell of a lot more like a pokemon than this thing.

True, they all give different impressions at first sight.
Scorbunny's just a cute little bunny, Raboot remind me of ninja and emo teenage, and Cinderace look like the 'cool' main character of some anime. Felt like they want people to like all members of Scorbunny lines for different reasons, instead of 'it just get bigger' designs that older starters used to have.

I don't usually have a problem with pokemon wearing clothes as long as there's an explanation for it and it blends in naturally with the design. But this thing...it's literally wearing human clothes. Even if we are to assume it's just it's fur, it doesn't look one bit natural at all no matter whatever explanation is behind that.

Nigger the first thing he told it was that he didn't want it and wanted Mew instead, So for starters Scorbunny wasnt wanted to begin with and then its trainer who didnt really want it, is now getting on its case for not knowing how to use fire. Plus Scorbunny seems like its really young, so logically it would develop a chip on it shoulder after being treated like that. Its not mature yet.

But that’s exactly what he did. Every time Scorbunny tried to show it its move, Go ignored him. The dude literally went “what the fuck do you even need a Fire-type move for?” and that would certainly piss off a FIRE-type who is getting bullied for not knowing any FIRE-type moves. Sure in the end he helped Scorbunny but only after Ash made him realize how retarded he was.

For as close Go and Scorbunny are, Go completely blindsided him and did not take into account his feelings at all.

The one route they could have taken if they didn't want to evolve Scorbunny would have been for it to somehow be alone with Meowth who could relate since he doesn't know Pay Day, plus having a similar backstory of being a stray on the streets and having to join a gang to survive. Could have been a touching moment and kept the cute mascot.
