>>43063133>No Contests>No Secret Bases>No room customization>Worst rematch system>Personal opinion, but I didn't like the extreme touch screen focus on menus, especially on the PC BoxesThey missed some cool things, although they also got shit like GB Sounds, Hoenn/Sinnoh radio station, some of the strongest rematches on the entire franchise, a more accurate Kanto, and had some neat events like Sinjoh Ruins and Giovanni's battle. They would have been the definitive Pokemon experiences if they had brought things like Contests, Underground and a better rematch system, but they are pretty damn great regardless and alongside Platinum and BW2 are the best the franchise will ever reach.
