What is an "Ace" Pokémon? The strongest one on your team? What is conceived as "Strong"? Can a Wall or Lead Mon be an ace?

"Ace Pokemon" are just Pokemon that people like the most on their team and usually use last in battle like NPCs. If you see anyone say they have an ace Pokemon, they're a faggot and should be ignored or made fun of.

Your strongest /best Pokemon. Unless someone is larping as a gym leader or some shit in multiplayer and is actively using weaker Pokemon (lower leveled, shitty moveset, whatever) though that shit doesn't make any sense.

For example. If I say that Toxapex is my ace i´m wrong? Because even if my team has better Pokémon to attack and oblirate the enemy, is thanks to this creature and its capability of resist a lot of damage and annoy the antagonist that i was able to win.
In objective terms, i think that no Pokémon can be an "ace" strictly since this game is based on "teams", so, all of the pieces of these teams are neccesary in one or another way to achieve the victory..

With your logic aces don't exist as why would an ace exist in a game where there is only one option? An ace is a Pokémon that you rely on more than others. All Pokémon in your team are useful but inevitably there are some Pokémon more useful than others.

The trainer's most iconic and strongest Pokemon. Like Milotic for Wallace, Garchomp for Cynthia, Gardevoir for Diantha, etc. In a more competitive sense, it tends to be the lynchpin that your team is built around.
