I hated how hyper focused on Unova pokemon it was, but considering how Unova is Kanto 2 I guess it makes sense

I loved that though. Giving new Pokemon time in the spotlight was one of my favorite parts of previous gens. Now it's pretty much Gen 1 and a handful of shillmons that get all the attention these days, and I HATE it!

Pretty much. Gen 5 was the death of so many spin off games. PMD was lucky it could survive Gates to Infinity.

It was fine in Black and White, and my favourite thing about that game. For spinoffs though it shouldn't be that way, and I also dislike kanto shilling in the new games

If it's not a core title, GO or Detective Pikachu, it's not going to be made unless it's to make a point that anything that isn't a core title, GO or Detective Pikachu is doomed in comparison due to corporate greed.

That only really serves to prove Anon's point in a way, because the "new PMD" is just a remake of the oldest PMD at a time where not just one, but two whole generations of Pokemon haven't been featured in a PMD game yet. It's basically a test to see if PMD is doomed or not before committing to actually making a new one.

Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon was the test to see if PMD was doomed which is why it had so much fan service as it could've been the last PMD game.

Rescue Team DX is just a remake that was made so they could start moving PMD to consoles.

Well, Pokepark was trademarked in January...

Honestly a Pokepark game with 2’s character switching and 1’s mini game styles/roster would be based as hell.

I want another Pokepark OST. The worst part though is I can see them complaining the animation needs hold it back from being completed quickly or without DLC, because a huge part of the games was being able to see pokemon moving around and take photos of them in their environments.
