For me literally nothing's changed. My work doesn't bring me into contact with a lot of people so our boss still makes us come in. Can't complain too much though, since I'm still making money.

We're understaffed because a bunch of the teenagers booked time off for March Break, some people are sick, and we're getting a lot more stock in than normal to try and compensate for the huge demand. We're an out of the way small grocery store that has a few hundred regulars, but we've been flooded by others that have heard that we haven't been hit as hard as the bigger stores in a desperate attempt to stockpile more.

The owner is a good person and I would feel bad about not helping him in his time of need. His entire life is 100 hour weeks, but he's always accommodating. I'm just frustrated by the sheer volume of people panic buying. Here you are being told to just stay home (and also that the time you're away from work will be covered by the provincial government), essentially an additional vacation, and you're flooding grocery stores. It may seem good for sales for us, but it's going to even out when everyone stops buying groceries for a while, and we're losing sales on things we're out of because everyone will just go to another grocery store to find it.

I would like nothing more than to chill at home for 3 weeks. I get that people are social creatures and they're highly suggestible when it comes to mass numbers. But they just need to think LOGICALLY for once. Stop panicking and you'll be fine. Just go about things normally, but limit your time outside your home.

I stay indoors 99% of the time so this is business as usual for me. On the other hand, it sucks because I have a huge backlog of anime and games I want to finish yet I never feel like playing them. Depression sucks.

Same thing with the games. My Steam backlog is immense, from AAA games to popular franchises I had never played and was looking forward to start (DMC, Bayo, etc.), to indies and so. It was my birthday two weeks ago and friends gave me ever more games, but I just don't have the energy to play them. I sit staring at my screen, scrolling up and down, and if for some reason I force myself to open a game, I get very tired like two minutes in, it's like I physically and mentally can't handle it. I have all these amazing games and they're just collecting virtual dust.

This is gonna sound silly anon but have you tried forcing yourself to play/watch them? I found that it worked for me, all it took was initiative. Even if you've tried it already, I insist you try again!

That's how I finished Pokemon Black after all (although it felt less like I was forcing myself to do it by the time I was at the halfway point)

Just like that everyday almost exactly, bar the days my gf comes over which has only been once so far. It's a lazy and useless lifestyle, but I've wasted too many breaks feeling guilty about not doing much and then wishing I would've appreciated my ability to be lazy afterward. It's perfectly acceptable to do nothing when you don't have anything to do, and you need to let yourself enjoy that stuff even if it feels like a waste of time. Honestly, nothing is a waste of time if you can say that you enjoyed yourself

Today (technically yesterday) was the first day I couldn't go to work and it sucked. I played White 2 for maybe fifteen minutes then sat through a meeting and stared at manuals all day since there isn't anything else to do.
