Are the DLC areas going to have a new currency? Anyone who played through the game casually is probably overflowing with Pokedollars and watts so how will they balance around this?

I'm not worried about currency as much as I'm worried about steamrolling through it with high-leveled Pokemon. Ideally they made it so you can't bring over your team from the mainland until you complete the story. That way you have to create a new team out of what's available in the area.

Hopefully it's sort of like the Wild Area in the base game. If you beat the game everything is scaled up a bunch but if not then it starts low level and gets progressively stronger.

They could just tailor the area to be based on your in-game status, as per badge count and whether or not Leon is defeated.
