PokeIreland isn't going to happen unless there is more DLC. I think China is going to get a region soon because companies love to pander to the Chinese.

Personally, I think it will. If they actually commit to make every pokemon available through the National Dex, then they can technically make two more DLC packs with about 100 or so more pokemon added to each one.

DLC doesn't sell nw Switch units like a new Game would though kid. They're tasked with shifting consoles by Nintendo on top of selling games and even they know new games do that better than DLC can - even the worst-selling Upper still managed to sell a few new hardware units at the same time. DLC only encourages sales of the game, a new game however gives people an excuse to buy a new hardware system/upgrade their current system. If that Pro Switch unit gets launched like it's supposedly coming this year, then Game Freak are going to have a new game out to support it, especially as most Nintendo's other big IP's have already shot their wad this Generation.

Mummer Pokémon. Based on a wrenboy (see pic).

Nest Bird Pokémon. Resembles a tangle of twigs in the shape of an eagle, with the twigs on its head resembling an olive wreath. Carries its young in a depression in its back. Based on the story of a "who can fly the highest" contest that was held to determine the king of birds, with the wren cheating to victory by hiding on the eagle's back.

Cruisabre - Water starter, based off a medieval knight. Hinted at being amphibious but largely obscured by teutonic armour - its feet are like scuba gear and it would glide through water
Firarmy - Fire starter, base off a stealth archer. Eventually becomes a winged bomber- based on german Eagle imagery.
Sageleef - Grass starter, based off classic wise wizards. Based off the german wolf, and has design similar to barbarian tribal germans.

Western border area would have noticeably more Kalos spawns, northwest a few Galar ones. Expansion areas would be a Prussian dark themed area - and a southern beautiful Alpine area representing Austria
