Does it look like Japan cares enough about African culture to specifically make a region of it that's not Egypt or the whole of Africa?
Most realisticly those will be the only two options if GF does decide to do an Africa region.
To Japan, Africa has no culture outside of Egypt.

Africa is far too large to be its own region. It's like turning the entirety of Asia into one region. That said regions based on specific areas (Madagascar or the North-African coast with the Meditteranean sea) could be sick.
