Can't even chalk it up to new-toy-syndrome since I never actually played Sword & Shield and have no desire to, but Mr. Rime is just all sorts of fun jam packed into a single Pokemon. On concept and design alone this geezer shot up to my top 3.

I hate almost all of the Gen 8 Pokemon and I think it's the worst of the bunch, but Rime is a nice exception. It's so much more simple and grounded compared to others, it's probably my favorite Ice type. Which isn't saying much sadly since most Ice types are meh, but still.

I remember back in gen 1 when I used to try and come up with evolutions for Tangela. I was so bad at making up names for things. Still am. I thought "Tanangula" would've been a good idea for a name for some reason. Cringe.
